Job Description
Tourism Media Sales Executive
Background: As media pioneers Extreme International run a highly successful social media publishing business offering social media management, content creation, advertising and sponsorship solutions for brands, events and tourism authorities and destinations. Posting and producing captivating action and adventure sports, travel and lifestyle entertainment daily for our highly engaged social community of approaching 20 million fans, we hit over 200m video views every month and recorded more than 2 billion video views in 2022.
About The Role
We are now seeking an experienced, dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a tourism and destination media Sales Executive. In this role, you will work closely alongside the Brand Partnerships Director, with a primary focus on driving and managing content creation, advertising and sponsorship, social media management to tourism authorities and global tourism offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and existing relationships with tourism offices, as well as proven experience in selling advertising, sponsorships, and social media marketing and management services.
Contract Type: Full Time
Compensation: Negotiable, Depends on Experience
Location: UK (Remote)
Areas of Focus and Core Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:

Proactively identify and contact potential tourism authorities and global tourism offices to sell our media services to.

Generate new leads and pursue opportunities to sell advertising, sponsorships, and social media marketing and management services.

Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve set targets and revenue goals.
2. Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new tourism offices and authorities.

Understand their specific marketing needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals.

Act as a liaison between EXTREME and tourism offices, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
3. Media Sales:

Present and pitch our social media marketing services to tourism authorities and global tourism offices.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure profitable deals.

Stay up to date with market trends and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and approaches.
4. Social Media advertising and sponsorship

Collaborate with the social media team to develop effective strategies.

Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of social media strategies.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality social media management services to clients.
Required Experience and skills:

Proven track record in media sales, particularly with tourism authorities and offices.

Strong network and relationships within the tourism industry.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to negotiate and close deals successfully.

Knowledge of social media marketing and management.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
