Job Description



About the Role


We are looking for a skilled Social Media Content Curator to join our team and create and research engaging content for a viriety of clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent copywriting skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to identify and curate trending, relevant content that resonates the clients audience. You will have a good understanding of the brands tone of voice. You will participate in the development of the content strategy for all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.


The ideal person would think about content as a story, and not a once off clip and begin to create unique angels!!!


Job Type: Full Time

Location: UK (Remote)


Responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  • Sourcing viral, unique, and interesting user generated content.

  • Reach out for 40 60 pieces of content per day, fill schedule slots a week in advance.

  • Obtain rights from the owner of the content to repost on our social media pages.

  • Obtaining information and angels to enhance clips into a well-rounded profile piece.

  • Build and maintain good long-lasting relationships with content creators.

  • Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for new content ideas and strategies.

  • Seek out Instagram partnerships and collaborations.

  • Write engaging tittles and captions that represent the clients brand and provoke engagement.


Required skills and experience:


  • Experience of working on large social media accounts for a business within a variety industries is an advantage.

  • At least 2 years of experience developing and curating content for social media platforms.

  • Excellent understanding of optimised content formats for variety of digital platforms.

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and algorithms to incorporate into the content.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices.

  • Attention to detail and a strong eye for visual aesthetics.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • The ability to interact with internal and external people and partners at all levels.

  • Great time management and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to nuance messaging of complex topics for different audiences.

  • Understanding of consumer trends and spotting them as they emerge.

  • Be a positive and energetic team player be someone we would want to go on a road trip with across Europe and ride mountain bikes.
