EXTREME, the lifestyle brand with serious attitude, is stoked to announce the appointment of three new EXTREME-sponsored athletes; Cam Peake, Sam Carne and Ross Welch.

BMXer, Cam Peake, has only been riding for two and half years but in that time has achieved a significant amount on the ramps. Consistent top ten finishes have become a habit for Cam; who confesses living, eating and breathing BMX. The 17 year old hopes to become a world leader on the BMX scene in the near future and the EXTREME sponsorship supports his ambition of competing globally at competitions like the X Games, the annual extreme tournament that can provide a platform for specialist sports to arrive on the Olympic stage.
Similarly, wakeboarder, Sam Carne, views this sponsorship as a significant step in his extreme sports career as representing EXTREME opens further opportunities for the top athletes in their field. Sam is not only the two-time UK champion but has won the European finals and placed in the top five at the Word Cup. However becoming an EXTREME athlete is not all serious, as Sam states that one of the best things about becoming an EXTREME Ambassador is that “you don’t have to say sorry for partying!”
The final addition to the EXTREME roster is Ross Welch, Freestyle Skiier, who is proud to represent the trailblazing sports company at tournaments and festivals as he sees himself as part of the bigger picture for the brand. Like all EXTREME’s athletes, performers and artists, Ross is the leader in his chosen hobby and has achieved a level whereby he can make it his occupation; competing on the global stage at the AFP World Tour and founding the Gap Nation Ski and Snowboard competition in the UK.
Alistair Gosling, CEO and Founder of EXTREME, comments, “EXTREME has always maintained its position as a major player by re-investing in the sector; seeing our sponsored athletes grow from strength to strength is testimony to our ambassador programme. Our athletes, performers and artists are the first to hear about new trends and talent and the most direct avenue to our fans. They ensure the EXTREME in-house team never take their finger off the pulse.”
