TV International Newsletter - The Extreme Sports Channel in Stockholm

UPCtv and the Extreme Group's joint venture, Extreme sports Channel, launched on the UPC Sverige network in Stockholm May 1.

The Channel is already available to subs to cable operator Telia's digital platform, Com Hem.

UPC Sverige is the new name for Stjarn TV, which UPC bought in July 1999 from EQT Scandinavia for $450 million.

The network has about 245,000 subs from 770,000 homes passed.
