The Role: 

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Junior Video Editor to support our content planning and delivery, as well as oversee both our own, and our partner, video productions. You will be part of driving forwards Extreme Studios, the production arm of EXTREME. Working closely with the Creative Manager, you will work across the business and with our video assets to design, develop and create content – working across multiple projects at any given time.   


As a proactive team member, you will also create and look for opportunities for the business. We’re a tight knit team that works closely together to create entertaining content, inspiring campaigns, events and destinations that we can all be proud of.   


Responsibilities of the job include: 

  • Editing and creating compelling content for B2B and B2C  

  • Sourcing of footage – stock, licensing, previous-projects  

  • Simple graphics and animation creation 

  • Supporting in edit process development  

  • Planning and organising post-production schedules  

  • Determining quality control standards  

  • Making suggestions for post-production resources  

  • Management of created assets   

  • Helping to spot and create content opportunities  

  • Working across the team to build the understanding of production processes.

Key skills: 


A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)  


  • Understanding of footage licensing and copyright 

  • Extensive knowledge of shooting and editing techniques   

  • Knowledge of and experience with video production equipment  

  • Excellent organisation, planning, and communication skills  

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work with varying and changing needs  

  • Ability to work independently  

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and meet deadlines  

  • Dedication to meeting deadlines and budgets and going the extra mile to do so  

  • Self-shooter is a bonus 

  • Passion for action and adventure sports and social media 

  • Be a positive and energetic team player – be someone we would want to go on a road trip across Europe; hang out at a mountain bike park with; and spend a day surfing!
