Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated part time Junior Paralegal to join our dynamic team. In this role, on an ad hock basis you will primarily be responsible for drafting and proofreading Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on an ad hoc basis, utilising your understanding of the UK/Middle East legal framework. You will contribute to the smooth operation of EXTREME International, ensuring the confidentiality and protection of sensitive information. The Junior Paralegal will report directly to the General Counsel and will have the opportunity to assist in various legal tasks related to the media, sports, entertainment, events, and hospitality industries.

Responsibilities:

Drafting and preparing accurate and comprehensive NDAs for different situations within the industries the company is across.

Proofreading, editing, and amending existing NDAs to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to legal standards.

Assisting the team in reviewing and revising contracts, agreements, and legal documents as required

Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to obtain necessary information and ensure timely completion of NDAs.

Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, industry trends, and best practices to provide informed legal advice and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and ensure compliance with legal obligations.

Assisting general counsel with various ad hoc legal tasks related as necessary.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of the UK legal framework, particularly in relation to contract law and NDAs

Proven prior experience as a paralegal or legal support personnel ideally in the media, entertainment, events and/or hospitality industries, familiarity with the complexities of the industry, and understanding of relevant contractual arrangements.

Excellent drafting and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail

Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads.

Excellent research skills and the ability to analyse complex legal information.

Proficient in using legal research databases, such as LexisNexis or Westlaw

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.

A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
