About the Role

​

We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated part time HR manager, preferably with experience in the hospitality / tourism industry but can flex.

​

As the part time HR Manager at EXTREME (potentially lead to full time), you will be working directly with our executive leadership team. You will support on the design, development and implementation of our HR strategies and initiatives that align with the Extremes goals and mission. Your expertise in various HR functional areas will enable you ensure job descriptions are well written and on point, run first round of interviews and provide HR guidance and support to drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.

Location: Remote / Flexible

Job Type: Part Time (10 hours per week, 2 hours per day)

​

Core Responsibilities will be to:

​

  • Collaborate with the senior management to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that align with the Extremes overall vision and mission.

  • Ensure job descriptions are well written and on point.

  • Run first round of interviews to maximise the senior teams time. Qualify who goes through to round two with the manager.

  • Provide expert guidance and support to senior leaders in areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, learning and development, and organizational design.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including culture-building programs, recognition programs, and employee surveys, to enhance the employee experience and promote a positive work environment.

  • Partner with the team to develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of top talent for key roles.

  • Support leadership in developing and implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and talent development plans.

  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and proactively recommend innovative HR solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Required Professional Experience

​

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience,

  • Previous experience in the Hospitality/Destinations industry strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations internationally.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.

  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support.

Educational Background:

​

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • HR certification (SHRM-SCP, CIPD or equivalent) is preferred.

​

  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Adaptability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment where policies and processes are being created.
