Job Description



About the Role


We are looking for a skilled Social Media Content Curator to join our team as a freelancer and create and research engaging content. The ideal candidate will have an interest in action/adventure sports, excellent copywriting skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to identify and curate trending, relevant content that resonates the Extreme’s audience. You will have a good understanding of our brand's tone of voice. You will participate in the development of the content strategy for all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.


Role Type: Part time/Freelance




Location: (Remote)


Work style: Target driven and flexible work hours (you will be working at your own pace and making sure that daily tasks are completed timely everyday)


Rate: $400 - $500 per month


How you will be contributing:


  • Sourcing exciting new adventure sports related content that is in line with the Extreme brand

  • Reaching out to creators for content and maintaining relationships with them.

  • Help develop strategies to Increase and maximise content reach.

  • Collaborate with the social media video editors, social channels manager and wider social team and discuss plans to create engaging content and grow social media pages for clients.

  • Following the company's brand guidelines with content sourcing and posting while also being compliant with social media community guidelines.

  • Write engaging tittles and captions that represent our brand and provoke engagement.


The ideal candidate is someone:


  • That loves and has a genuine passion and interest for Extreme Sports and Adventure Travel.

  • Has 2+ social media experience from reputable media publishing houses.

  • That has great knowledge of major social media platforms and how they work (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc)

  • Experience of working on large social media accounts for a business within a variety of industry’s is an advantage.

  • Has a good understanding of optimised content formats for Facebook, Instagram & TikTok.

  • That stays up to date with the latest social media best practices and algorithms to incorporate into the content.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Be a good problem solver, with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices.

  • Attention to detail and a strong eye for visual aesthetics.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

  • The ability to interact with internal and external people and partners at all levels.

  • Great time management and communication skills.

  • Not afraid to pitch new ideas and give feedback to the social media team.

  • Be a positive and energetic team player be someone we would want to go on a road trip and participate in thrilling adventure sports with.
