​Job Description

The Role

 

We’re looking for an organised, creative, and detail-oriented YouTube Content Manager to help plan, coordinate, and deliver content across our YouTube channels.

Working closely with our Channel Manager and video production team, you’ll manage editorial calendars, support uploads, ensure content is properly optimised, and keep the publishing pipeline running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone with a foundation in YouTube publishing and digital media skills, who’s eager to grow in a fast-paced environment where storytelling, performance, and visual impact are key.

Engagement: Full time/Part-Time/Flexible

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate YouTube content schedules across multiple channels

  • Keep production timelines, publish dates, and deadlines on track and on point

  • Prepare and upload content with correct metadata, thumbnails, tags, and end screens

  • Dive into YouTube Analytics and other tools to track what’s working and what needs tweaking.

  • Deliver insightful performance reports on content performance identifying key trends and areas for optimization

  • Support thumbnail reviews, title testing, and publishing QA

  • Maintain internal databases, playlists, and content libraries tidy and up to date

  • Assist with research into audience trends, competitor activity, and SEO opportunities

  • Work closely with editors, social leads, and talent to keep content moving through the pipeline

  • Bring fresh ideas to brainstorms and help shape new formats that stop the scroll

 

 

About You

 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a YouTube, digital media, or content production environment

  • A degree in Digital Media, Content Production, Communications, or a related field

  • Proficient with YouTube Studio, Google Workspace, and basic content management or publishing tools

  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills

  • Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with composure, clarity and confidence

  • Experience collaborating with creators, influencers, or talent is a plus

  • Interest in action sports, adventure storytelling, or digital media trends is a bonus

  • Creatively minded yet operationally savvy — you value processes, systems, and spreadsheets as much as storytelling and content
