Driven by our mission to entertain and inspire our highly engaged 20 million strong community we create, curate, upload and post highly engaging content when, where and how our fans want it. Focusing on what’s fun, entertaining, relevant and now we post scripted and unscripted longform, short form videos, events, and podcasts across our network of social media pages and streaming platforms. For brands, content creators, event owners and media partners, we help them activate and engage with our highly engaged community.

 

Youth focused whether it’s a great story or a brilliantly entertaining video, our aim is to be across travel and adventure, extreme sports, environment and sustainability, dance and gaming areas. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and capable of finding, agreeing, loading, and delivering outstanding content on a daily basis. Responsible for working on our social media positioning, sourcing, and posting videos from around the world, you'll be driving our jointly agreed vision and overall performance of our social media pages. The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role; 

  • Love social media and be creative;   

  • Have a passion for the areas we are across and building out that are listed above; 

  • Experience of digital publishing/editorial and the ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video);   

  • Demonstrable competence in writing and editing / copywriting and some journalistic skills in spotting and developing stories/themes; 

  • Able to use social media insights with knowledge of Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram and the other social media best practices;   

  • Present digestible data to the wider team on community engagement, sentiments and social media metrics;  

  • Proved experience in managing the Brand pages and managing the Social Media team; 

  • Up to date with the latest trends and updates on each social media platform.

Personal Characteristics:

  • The ability to interact with internal and external people at all levels from our CEO to external partners / stakeholders;

  • Be a good problem solver, with a passion for storytelling and innovation;

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to nuance messaging of complex topics for different audiences;

  • Maintains strong contacts in media & journalism

  • Understanding of consumer trends and spot them as they emerge;

  • Be a positive and energetic team player – be someone we would want to go on a road trip across Europe; hang out at a mountain bike park with; and spend a day surfing!
