JORDYN BARRATT EARNS DEW TOUR INVITE TO COMPETE AGAINST THE GUYS

EXTREME's new ambassador Jordyn Barratt is the first girl to earn an invite to compete against the guys in the 2017 Dew Tour Skateboarding Contest. Jordyn earned an invitation based on merit and was chosen by the skateboarding app, Podium. Jordyn also represents BLACK&DECKER.

“I’m honored to be the first girl to be invited to compete against the guys,” said Jordyn Barratt. “I can’t wait to compete and wish everyone the best of luck.”

Fresh off a first place Pro Division win at the Girls Combi Classic and Bowl a Rama Bondi Women’s Finals, the North Shore Hawaii native Jordyn Barratt is ready to rip and leave it all on the line. With a smooth style, ability to piece difficult lines together and arsenal of tricks, she will be matching up against some of the world’s best guys in the bowl contest qualifiers kicking off this Thursday, June 15, 2017.

This year, the Podium Skate App hosted a contest in conjunction with Dew Tour to search of the world’s best street and bowl skaters. Skaters from around the world download the app and load footage to be voted upon by their peers, judged by a pro panel and in turn would secure qualification spots to compete in Long Beach.
