Job Description

About The Role

 

We are seeking a channel manager who has deep knowledge and passion for social media, including experience analysing data/content performance on Facebook and other social platforms. As a Social Channels Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies based on the data analysed. This opportunity is for someone who is passionate for social media, lives and breathes the platforms and is knowledgeable about the latest trends in the social media landscape, has a broad knowledge of social publishers and the creator economy.

 

As a channel manager, you will be focusing on developing and implementing clear content output, creative and distribution strategies. You will be driving our jointly agreed vision and overall performance of the social channels for clients with our social media team. You will be responsible for reaching and exceeding the set growth and revenue goals by growing your clients audience, analysing data, spotting social media trends, and suggesting improvements to inform the approach, scheduling, and content output.

Required Skills And Experience.

 

  • Experience of working on large social media accounts for a business within a variety of industries.

  • A strategic mindset, be able to create a plan for the future of the social channels.

  • Analysing data/metrics/insights from our social media platforms

  • Have a strong familiarity with Social Insights and/or other social focused data tools.

  • Excellent understanding of optimised content formats for a variety of digital platforms.

  • Expert knowledge of Facebook, with a strong understanding of navigating META business suite

  • Have experience using social listening platforms or tools.

 

Responsibilities.

 

  • Develop strategic plans and operational plans for the channel’s growth in multi-platform content delivery and revenue generation.

  • Managing the social channels across Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube - focusing on content, creative and distribution strategies, using data and insight to inform the approach, scheduling, and content output.

  • Manage and analyse data from our social media platforms and provide actionable insights.

  • Analyse social platforms and how each of them uniquely impacts audience behaviour and content performance.

  • Understanding and following the clients brand guidelines with all edits of content while also being compliant with social media community guidelines.

  • Be a good problem solver, with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

  • The ability to interact with internal and external people and partners at all levels.

  • Great time management and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to nuance messaging of complex topics for different audiences.

  • Understanding of consumer trends and spotting them as they emerge.

  • Be a positive and energetic team player – be someone we would want to go on a road trip with across Europe and ride mountain bikes.

  • A qualification in Media Production, Communications, Digital Production/Publishing, or related field is not mandatory, rather nice to have.
