This video involves encouraging and supporting people who do action sports, to place an emphasis on BLACK+DECKER's brand equity, “We’ve got your back”.
We expressed this brand message through BLACK + DECKER BMX athlete, Nikita Ducarroz. The video delved into Nikita’s struggle with anxiety and the rise and falls she experienced over her career as a professional BMX athlete.
The film illustrated how Nikita’s family and the BMX community has supported, encouraged and helped her gain the confidence to overcome her anxiety and become one of the best athletes in the world.
The video concluded with Nikita’s ability to pass on this mentality onto future generations.
