As a key part of EXTREME Destinations division, you will play a strategic and directorial (partner) role in shaping and leading the consultancy division. Reporting to the Managing Director of Extreme Destinations, this senior-level position entails providing strategic direction, driving business growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing the delivery of exceptional consulting services across the adventure travel, extreme sports and adventure hospitality sectors. You will work closely with other directors and senior management team to ensure the success of the company and maintain its reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategy, vision, and goals.

Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding the company's service offerings.

Oversee and respond to RFPs and the related commercial proposals.

Participate in the development and implementation of long-term business plans and policies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing specialised and tailored consulting solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on complex business challenges and industry trends.

Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop long-term partnerships.

Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork.

Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success, balancing client demands, and consultant availability.

Oversee the execution of consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.

Review and assess project proposals, methodologies, and deliverables to maintain the firm's standards of excellence.

Monitor project progress, manage risks, and make strategic adjustments as necessary to meet client expectations.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within the consulting field.

Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including publishing articles, presenting at conferences, and participating in industry forums.

Represent the company externally, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and promoting its brand and expertise.​
Requirements:

Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in management consulting or a related field, with a proven track record of success.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Exceptional leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.

Excellent client relationship management skills, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering value.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

A master's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience and expertise will also be considered.
