THE BRIEF:

The Brits Laax is the annual British Snowboard and Freeski Championship, which combines an end-of-season party atmosphere with freestyle skiing and snowboarding contest. EXTREME’s main objective was to promote the event across our platforms in order to raise awareness worldwide.

THE EVENT:

Action sports events are one of EXTREME’s brand drivers and The Brits is no exception. Competition and lifestyle event partnerships like this enable us to connect them directly with our fan base in order to maximise their reach, brand presence and awareness. 

 

The Brits is the British Ski and Snowboard Championships that takes place in the Alpine ski resort of Laax, Switzerland. British snow-sports fans come together for a week of competition across multiple disciplines.

 

We took a team to the mountains to capture the whole event and promote The Brits through our digital media platforms. EXTREME ran commentary on the competition including Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Big Air and Ski/Boardercross, as well as live interviews with riders and our ambassadors and athletes. 

 

The Brits isn’t just a competition, but also offers a range of parties and Après sessions throughout the week showcasing Live bands and DJ’s. These events were captured by the EXTREME team and distributed across our network and Facebook Live. The Après parties are not to be missed and be sure to know that EXTREME will be hitting up the slopes and bars again in Laax next year!
