Business Development Internship

Reports to: Business Development Executive

​Our aim is to build the business into a world leading organisation that drives positive change through extreme and adventure sports. The Ideal Candidate will be passionate about these sports and have a strategic mindset that will ultimately help to build a new client portfolio across the EXTREME media & marketing arm of the business. Your will be responsible building target profiles and lists of potential partners, sourcing opportunities for new revenue streams and helping with ongoing client campaigns. You can look forward to responsibilities and involvement that will provide you with a rewarding and fast-paced day to day.

The Ideal Candidate will:

Support the Business Development Executive on special projects by executing quantitative and qualitative analyses and synthesizing findings for senior management as:

  • Researching potential partners across all areas;

  • Creating Databases with contact details of potential partners;

  • Sending out development emails to potential partners;

  • Looking at market data and product categories to find opportunities;

  • Putting together trend boards and product development inspiration;

  • Preparing and working on pitches and sales materials;

  • Assisting with current client campaigns.

Personal Characteristics:

  • Degree in either Marketing, Business or Economics (nice to have)

  • General understanding of business development and sales;

  • The ability to interact with internal and external people at all levels from our CEO to every other internal or external stakeholders;

  • Be a good problem solver with effective analytical skills;

  • Strong attention to detail, with strong interpersonal and influencing skills;

  • Not afraid to pitch new ideas and constructive feedback to the Business Development team;

  • General knowledge of branding and strategies with good presentation skills and good attention to detail;

  • Be a positive and energetic team player – be someone we would want to go on a road trip across Europe; hang out at a mountain bike park with; and spend a day surfing!
