About The Role

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced YouTube Channel Manager to oversee the launch and growth of multiple new YouTube channels covering diverse content categories from film to sport, drama to paranormal. This role demands an entrepreneurial strategic thinker with a deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, audience engagement, and content optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to build thriving online communities and drive significant channel growth.

 

Job Type: Full Time

Engagement: Consultant / employment

Locations: London office preferred with global Remote option.

Compensation: Great Equity package based on experience and delivery

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

​

Channel Strategy & Management:

​

 

• Develop and execute comprehensive YouTube strategies for multiple channels, tailored to each channel's specific audience and goals.

• Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing across all channels.

• Optimize channel settings, playlists, and metadata for maximum discoverability.

• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.

Content Optimization:

​

• Collaborate with partners and editors to develop and deliver engaging and high-performing long/short form video content.

• Conduct keyword research and optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags.

• Analyse video performance and implement strategies for improvement.

• Working with the channel owner or team to develop and implement long-term growth strategies for the channel.

Audience Growth & Engagement:

​

 

• Develop and implement strategies to increase subscriber growth and viewership.

• Monitor and engage with audience comments and feedback.

• Build and manage online communities around each channel.

• Monitoring and enforcing the channel's community guidelines and policies

 

 

Analytics & Reporting:

​

 

• Track and analyse key YouTube metrics (views, watch time, engagement, demographics).

• Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights.

• Utilize YouTube Analytics and other relevant tools.

• Monitor monetization and revenue streams.

 

 

Collaboration & Communication:

​

 

• You will be working with a fast-growing dynamic team that are passionate excited and about the growing a Brilliant you tube focused business.

• Work closely with tv producers, tv distributors, tv channels, content creators, editors, marketing team and other stakeholders.

• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners.

• Manage relationships with YouTube and other relevant platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

​

 

• 4+ years of proven experience managing and growing YouTube channels with a focus on consistent growth and engagement.

• Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, analytics, and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of video editing and content creation principles.

• Preferred software skills: Dropbox, YouTube Studio, AI tools, Adobe Suite, Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

• Solid knowledge of YouTube keyword research and SEO optimization.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects 1 and deadlines.

• Strong copywriting skills for crafting engaging titles and descriptions that drive clicks while maintaining authenticity.
