It’s not just about the riding anymore, there’s more to a great ramp when you can enjoy their quirkiness and the creator’s unique imagination. These are what dreams are made of:

Glow-in-the-Dark Skate Park glow-in-he-dark


Found in France, the park has simply been given a lick of phosphorescent paint dreamed up by artist Koo Jeong-A, the glow-in-the-dark effect was inspired by the island’s spooky “mysterious winter landscape.”

The neat-looking ramp bobs the waves of Lake Tahoe, California.Built by skateboarding pro Bob Burnquist with the assistance of art director Jerry Blohm, the structure features a half pipe, quarter pipe and 45-degree ramp and weighs an amazing 7,300 pounds.

By far this has to be my favourite, everything you can see, has be altered so you can skate and grind. The structure is a low-ceilinged oval from the outside; the walls are curved, a ramp provides entrance and the kitchen counters have metal trim for grinding. Gotcha..took me a while too to realise the illusion here; this was found in New Zealand crew 3DSD is known for their head-turning 3D effects drawn onto the shores of North Island using sticks and rakes. Sweet.
