ENTER THE DROP ZONE WITH EXTREME SPORTS CHANNEL


London UK, 10 April 2012: Extreme Sports Channel, the world's first TV channel dedicated to the action sports lifestyle, announced today that it has acquired the television rights to the National Open Skydiving Championships from Central Media Productions Ltd marking the first time the competition will be broadcast on TV.

The event, which sees skydiving's elite freefalling from 10,000 feet to compete for the championship crown, will transmit as a 4x30min series across Extreme Sports Channel's UK and EMEA feeds.

The event was recorded at Skydive Hibaldstow which is based at Hibaldstow airfield in Lincolnshire, home to a number of large international and domestic skydiving competitions. The series focusses on the British number one skydiver Julia Foxwell and her 'four way' team Satori competing against Simon Catherine's team, Sonic Nutz. The National Open Skydiving Championships will air in May and June on Extreme Sports Channel.
