Junior Sales Manager (Brand Partnerships) - Part-time

Remuneration: 30 - 35K+ Uncapped Commission (OTE)

About the role

Brand partnerships are the lifeblood of the Creator economy and require dedication, energy and creativity matched with sharp commercial thinking. Wavelength are seeking the next generation of Sales Superstars to integrate brands into our Editorial output, leverage our creator network and monetise distribution through value-add partnerships.

With more than 300 million fans in our network, we are seeking a salesperson who can weave narrative, nuance and cultural storytelling into our output as a service to our existing and new brand partners.

Every day will be different but in a nutshell this what you will be doing day to day:

  • Lead Generation & Sourcing: Proactively identifying and reaching out to brands (Travel, Lifestyle, Fashion, FMCG, Tech and Automotive are our core verticals) that align with our audience.

  • Pitching Social Formats: Selling the value of Reels, TikToks, Stories and Branded Series. You’ll explain why a 15-second Reel is more effective than a traditional banner ad and you will work closely with our social/ editorial team to develop formats and proactively pitch them to partners.

  • Pipeline Management: Managing your own "hit list" of clients, from the initial "cold slide into the DMs" (or emails) to closing the deal.

  • Account Management: successful pitches should evolve into long term accounts - lay the groundwork to develop into an Account Director and Sales Leader within the org

  • Reporting: Keeping track of campaign performance and presenting the "wins" back to the brands to secure repeat business.

  • Executive Access: Wavelength operates a very flat hierarchy - work directly with the founders on new concept development and commercial strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Social Fluency: You instinctively know what makes a good Reel vs. what belongs on a Story.

  • Hustle: You aren't afraid of rejection. You’re comfortable making cold calls, sending cold emails, networking at industry events and using lateral thinking to deliver unseen opportunities to fruition.

  • Communication: You can write a pitch deck that is as engaging as the content we produce.

  • Commercial Mindset: you understand the basic elements of a P&L and can balance profitability, client success with stakeholder management.

  • Deep Social Platform Knowledge: Instinctively understand platform mechanics, content trends and audience engagement nuances
