Extreme Sports Channel has acquired a variety of titles featuring stunt daredevils and compulsive pranksters, The Dudesons, from Target Entertainment.
The fearsome foursome is made up of Finnish stuntmen Jukka, Jarno, Jarppi and HP who bring a world of pain, comedy and entertainment to the screen. Risking their bodies for the entertainment of others, The Dudesons play darts using each other as targets, create an innovative baseball bat alarm clock and battle with cars, robots and wrecking balls. The cult comedy stunt show has become one of Finnish TV's most successful exports and the quartet has also featured in the movie Jackass 3D.
The acquisitions, which will all begin airing in August, include The Dudesons Movie (1 x 90mins) for the French, UK, pan-European and Polish feeds, The Dudesons series 3 (8 x 30mins) for the French feed, and The Dudesons series 4 (8 x 30mins) for the UK feed.
The Men Who Jump off Buildings (1 x 60mins) has also been acquired. The show follows base jumpers as they launch themselves off famous UK landmarks such as Nelson's Column, The Millennium Dome and Blackpool Tower and will transmit on Extreme Sports Channel's Polish feed in October
Following a global refresh last year, Extreme Sports Channel has broadened its programming slate to include new factual entertainment shows alongside the best in action sports events and competitions.
