75% Increase in sales for Extreme International


Extreme International continues it's strong growth with a number of major broadcast licenses and an increase in sales of 75% for 8 months to September 1st 2001, while signing distribution agreements with a number of new programme suppliers. World Series Jetsprints, for which Extreme funds the TV production, will make a return to American television when the 2001 Series airs on Speedvision network imminently. Extreme has negotiated a key deal for the federation for the broadcast all 12 of the World Series races for both the 2001 and 2002 Series. The Series is also being broadcast in Germany(DSF), France and French Speaking Europe and Africa (AB Moteurs), Hong Kong (HK Cable) and Australia (Sky Channel).

Extreme and Action Sports - The New Series of Not Recommended Behaviour has been licensed to Canal + Poland, West Media in New Zealand and Globosat In Brazil. Globosat have also acquired 16mm, and renewed the 360 Surfing series from Cardiff-based Boomerang Productions.

Extreme's 100 hour supply deal to Fox Sports Australia, via Denver based America Presents X, has also renewed, with licenses agreed for Blue Torch, 360 Surfing, 16mm., the Newquay Boardmasters and The Ride Guide show.

The Score Network In Canada, until recently a results only service, will start broadcasting Extreme Sports series for the first time with the license of 26 episodes of Core Culture and Extreme 16mm.

Technology - Sales of the technology catalogue have never been stronger with sales of over 150 hours of programming licensed to RACTI for broadcast on Dubai Business TV. Series licensed include Global Village, Blue Chip, Automotiv and Made in Japan. Other series have also been sold to West Media New Zealand, Canal Beca Spain, Asia TV Hong Kong and East Asia Satellite TV.

All of the above and numerous other contracts constitute a 75% growth in sales in comparison to the same 8 month period to 1st September in 2000.
