About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee data and research initiatives within our organisation. As the Project Manager for Data and Research, you will be responsible for managing projects focused on gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making and support strategic initiatives.

Location: Europe or Middle East (remote based with occasional travel.)

Job Type: Short Term Contract (could lead to long term engagement.)



  • Plan, execute and monitor data and research projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.

  • Define project requirements and develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Manage a team of data analysts and researchers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

  • Coordinate data collection efforts, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data privacy regulations.

  • Oversee data analysis and interpretation, employing statistical methods and data visualization techniques to derive meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations, conveying research findings and project outcomes to key stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and implementing appropriate solutions.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and research methodologies.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics).

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in managing data-driven research projects.

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical methodologies, and research methodologies.

  • Proficient in using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Python, R).

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results within established timelines.

  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical considerations in data research is preferred.
