James has over 15 years experience building international event businesses and staging high profile, large scale events, festivals and touring productions throughout Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and Australasia.

In 2004 James launched Taste of London and subsequently managed the international rollout of Taste Festivals, with the property becoming the largest global series of restaurant festivals.

James became Chief Operating Officer of Top Gear Live in 2007; a 9-year touring arena show hosted by the inimitable trio of Clarkson, Hammond & May. The production was a joint venture between Brand Events & BBC Worldwide. Mirroring the global success of the TV show, the production performed in 23 cities, 15 countries, across 4 continents, thrilling over 2 million passionate fans and branching out into automotive adverts, TV specials and creating online virals.

Following Top Gear Live, James was the Executive Producer of Fast & Furious Live, working with Universal Studios to create a technologically advanced and spectacular touring arena show which premiered to a packed O2 Arena before touring Europe through 2018.

A keen skier both on snow and water, James is now taking on kitesurfing. He loves the Alps but also the Mediterranean and has so many destinations he cannot wait to explore, with Japan and Canada being very high on the list.
