Founder and CEO- Alistair Gosling - 'Group Daddy'
Founded Extreme in 1995 with a Vision to inspire people to explore and experience the music, the fashion the sports and the way of life that the Extreme brand represents.
Mixing the sports he is passionate about with business, and working with great people under his leadership the The Extreme Sports Company has built up a globally recognized brand and family of 18 fast growing companies and licensee's that operate across 70 countries in multiple sectors. He currently works alongside the MDs and teams within Extreme and also invests in and sits on the boards as a non-executive director of Glassesdirect.com and Diffusion Media group, and fashion retailer Yukker.co.uk. Al is still completely passionate about the sports that give him his drive and passion for the business and when not in the office you will find him either windsurfing, kite surfing, flying, ice climbing or skiing somewhere in the world.
COO & Head of Legal- Alex Lee - 'The Discerning Hooligan'
Studied Law at University of Otago, New Zealand before relocating to London. Alex then went on to complete a Masters Degree at the University of London and worked for The Zomba Group and BMG,before moving across to television with Channel 4. From there Alex took up the position of Head of Lead and Business Affairs with Fremantle Media, prior to taking on his most recent appointment as the Head of Corporate Development and General Counsel with the Jamie Oliver Group. Alex thinks he is a pretty good guitar player and hopes to one day sail into the sunset on a RS800 or riding a Ducati Monster.
Brand Development Director- Rebecca Pearson - 'The Princess'
Having launched a theatre company whilst at school and a magazine whilst at university taking a BSc in Psychology, Rebecca decided to channel her entrepreneurial flair into the fashionindustry. After attending the London College of Fashion she launched JJM Clothing and grew the business to a thriving design and sourcing house. Rebecca has worked with a number of well known high street brands as well as more exclusive luxury labels that supplying some of the most well known stores in the UK including, Topshop, Harrods and Selfridges. Being a life long skier Rebecca has loved extreme sports all her life having parachuted and Para Glided over the French Alps, Rebecca loves anything that gives her a rush... provided it doesn't get her hair wet.
Creative Director- Patrick Milenuszkin - 'The Conductor'
Having got a Bachelor of science in Economics and Finance from the University of York Patrick moved into design and attended the London College of Fashion. In 2003 he started up his own fashion business JJM Clothing with Rebecca and began designing and sourcing for brands. Building an extensive database of Far Eastern factories into his portfolio Patrick has designed collections as diverse as top-end designer cashmere to Topshop's fast fashion. With a passion for trying new things and being dedicated to a life without constraints Patrick loves working within Extreme.
Head of Intellectual Property & Brand protection - Darren Olivier
"The Brand detective"
Works externally and manages brand portfolios for a number of clients from start-ups to large multinational companies. He was previously head of IP at Dunlop Slazenger Group Limited and a partner at a city law firm's rated Trademark and Brand Protection Group. He is a dual qualified solicitor and a total expert in his field.
Head of Business development Asia- 'Terry Hauss'- 'The Wise One'
Gained a degree at FIT in NYC and is a leading International licensing and biz development executive who has been in licensing and merchandising for 30 years and on the brand side has worked for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, across Superman, Batman, Harry Potter, Sony Consumer Products and Iconix brands and on retail has worked with Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, I Magnin, and Saks. He is currently a Director of The Licensing Management Group.

holds a degree in Hotel and Catering Administration from the University of Surrey, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, Fellow of the British Association of Hospitality Accountants, Fellow of the Tourism Society and a Member of a number of related sector associations. Prior to joining Extreme Hotels Worldwide, he established Hotel Investment Advisors providing Asset Management and Advisory Services to the hospitality sector, was Managing Director of Christie Consulting International and for many years prior to that was a Partner in BDO Stoy Hayward, Chartered Accountants and Lead Director of Horwath Consulting.
Development & Construction Director- Josef Ransley - 'The Prof'
A British National, was born in Belgium and educated there and in the UK. Very much an internationalist, Josef speaks 4 languages and has worked with most of the major hotel groups on more than 150 hotels in over 30 countries. The combination of deep specialist discipline, experience and keen awareness of broader business development has led to visiting lectureships in Bournemouth, Southampton and Surrey Universities and Professor of Development and Construction, MBA programme at Essex University, Paris and many contributions to International conferences as well as adjudication of Architectural and Interior Design Competitions. He has an intimate knowledge of all criteria needed to create successful, profitable and unique landmark projects for all involved.
Head of Development- Graham McCourt Dipl. Arch., R.I.B.A. - 'Quick draw'
Completed his undergraduate and postgraduate level studies at Portsmouth School of Architecture, with a final thesis on Hotel Design. He has been a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects since 1975. From 1980 to 2003, Graham worked in a variety of roles for Holiday Inns / Bass Hotels & Resorts / Intercontinental Hotels Group and has held positions including Vice President Design & Construction (responsible for company owned, managed and franchised hotels) and Vice President Franchise Services; both roles covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He was also responsible for the design and launch of Express by Holiday Inn in Europe (together with Josef Ransley in the role of consultant designer), and continued to be responsible for design and property issues for this successful brand until 2003. Within the architectural field, one of Graham's main interests as been to support the development of off-site construction and sub-assemblies for buildings, Graham has also been involved with the management of the franchising side of the business and at one stage qualified as a hotel general manager within the Holiday Inn system so that he was better placed to direct the delivery of revenue improvement plans and other operational initiatives for hotels in the franchise system. All this gives him a unique perspective on the vital relationship between hotel development costs and what can be returned from the on-going hotel operations; together with the impact of good hotel design on hotel guests and staff. Since leaving Holiday Inn Graham has spent 7 years in private practice, working and has worked on a over 250 hotel developments to date.

Executive Chairman - Keith Hogg
Keith has over 25 years experience in the drinks industry working for Courage and Scottish and Newcastle. He has worked in both on and off trade in the UK and in his role as Managing Director of Scottish Courage Brands, he was voted one of the top 10 most influential suppliers in 2005. His last role with S&N was as Group Sales Director reporting to the CEO. Keith now works with a number of companies within the Leisure industry. He has also been involved in professional sport for over 10 years. He is currently Chairman of Harlequins Rugby League Club and on the Board of Edinburgh Rugby. The Extreme Drinks Company has seen increasing growth in Europe, Middle East and the Americas, and coupled with Keith's considerable industry knowledge this passionate brand is set to grow exponentially.

Anthony is an Economics graduate from Cambridge with nine years experience in the UK Independent Music sector. He has broad experience at management level across distribution, manufacturing, music internet and marketing consulting. After moving sectors into advertising, Anthony was responsible for new business and key account management for several drinks industry accounts. Now at the helm of The Extreme Drinks Company, he strives to build the brand and company to be the best it can be.
Operations Director - Edward Swete
Ed has extensive on trade experience having managed Bars and Restaurants in London for 4 years before joining The Extreme Drinks Company pre-launch in August 2002. Ed was integral to the launch of Extreme Drinks in January 2003 and has helped develop the operational structure of the business from day one. Ed's knowledge of worldwide production, manufacturing and supply chain plays an essential and intricate part in the running of The Extreme Drinks Compan
Board Member - Chris Radford
Chris is co-founder of a marketing consultancy called Differentiate that helps senior people in successful organisations gain more growth - clients include Britvic, Masterfoods and Pepsi to name a few. He is also a Director of HAT adventures: an innovative company offering skiers the training they need to build their confidence to go off-piste. This sailing and skiing mad partner, director and founder has extensive soft drinks and extreme sports lifestyle knowledge. He was Managing Director of sportswear giant HEAD UK's distribution arm, Marketing Director at Pepsi Cola Europe and Head of Marketing for Pepsi Cola UK. Chris brings invaluable marketing and branding acumen to The Extreme Drinks Company Board.
Board Member - Jonathan Garner
Jonathan is the Managing Director & Shareholder of the family-owned greetings cards and Thornton's franchisee business: Special Occasions. He started in management as a Production & Commercial Manager for Master Foods. He was then promoted to Commercial & External Affairs Director of Master Foods in Dubai, UAE where he held responsibility for all purchasing and logistics required to support the growth of the Middle East business of Mars Inc. - extending across 21 countries. An avid rower, skier, and hiker, Jonathan and his wife love the outdoor lifestyle and really get the Extreme Brand. Jonathan's supply chain experience and negotiating advice provides a crucial role for The Extreme Drinks Company in monitoring our cost base, supply chain and production scalability moving forwards.
Poland Executive - Miroslaw Krajewski
Miro is a graduate of the Maths Institute, Warsaw University and has developed huge experience in CSD. Having worked with Pepsi (USA), Kama (FMCG) and XL Energy Drink, he has broad and extensive knowledge and contacts in the Polish soft drinks space. He has also worked in the telecoms sector for Netia Telecom and Yellow Pages so appreciates and is best placed to exploit the cross-promotional opportunities afforded by the Extreme Brand since it encompasses both lucrative sectors of the Polish market.

Managing Director - Pipa Nogaro
Pipa brings indepth experience in corporate finance with over 8 years of Investment Banking and Private Equity at Citigroup, ARF (the first Argentine Public Offer Trust Fund for investors in capital markets) and Columbus MB, a boutique Investment Bank he founded with former Citibankers. He always had a great passion for action sports and during his MBA at INSEAD he met Extreme Element's team. Shortly after, he jumped on board and now Pipa leads the day to day efforts of the business making sure we hit the ground running...
Head of Online - Tim Brickle
A seasoned kite surfer, adventure traveller and online marketing professional, Tim is the co founder of Extreme Element. Capitalising on his personal passions for international travel, adventure activities and anything that gets the heart pumping, Tim has grown Extreme Element (www.exelement.co.uk) to become the leading extreme sports agency in the UK and Spain. With its credible brand, strong online presence and retail deals in the top 4 UK Supermarkets, Extreme Element has grown rapidly since its inception in late 2006, now offering over 600 extreme experiences at over 300 centres in the UK. The company has grown in size and staff but still managed to keep its focus on its original goal - to get more people involved in extreme sports and to introduce at least a small 'extreme element' into everybody's life! Well known as an avid entrepreneur and outspoken adventure sports enthusiast, Tim's staff are accustomed to frequently sending out rescue parties to drag him back into the office after he has managed to sneak out to indulge in his other passion in life, kite surfing.
Non Executive Director - Pascal Tiemann Pascal previously worked in several leisure and leisure services companies including The Tussauds Group and Petri & Tiemann Consulting Company. For two years he was also employed in the Leisure sector team at UBS Investment Bank involved in transactions such as Blackstone Group's acquisition of Legoland, Cinven's disposal of Fitness First and the disposal of Hilton Group's international hotel chain to Hilton Hotels Corporation. More recently, Pascal was part of the team that established Kings Park Capital, a private equity fund dedicated to investments in the leisure sector. He was actively involved in the execution of the fund's maiden transactions, the acquisitions of Next Generation Clubs Australia and Worldhotels / Trust.

Advisor - Ian Pond
FMCG marketing trained, Ian has worked in mobile communications for 18 years joining Orange. He was part of the team which developed the Orange brand in the UK and was a key player in the expansion of Orange around the world under both Hutchison and later with France Telecom, Ian left Orange as Vice President International Marketing in 2005. Since leaving Orange, he has adopted a portfolio career approach working through his own mobile industry consulting company The Fireplug Ltd. During this time, he has been busy undertaking advisory and operational assignments with a range of companies including new and established operators in the Middle East, MVNO start-ups in Europe and applications companies in Mobile VOIP, Advanced Messaging, Car & Outdoor Navigation. Ian knows the Extreme brand well, having spent a period as UK MD of Extreme Mobile in the UK.

Entrepreneur and investor, has invested in a wide range of start-up and development projects in the UK and the US. Managing Director - Simon McIntyre
Simon is a tried and tested retailer with over 20 years of highly practical retail experience. Simon created and developed the multi-channel action sports retailer, Just Add Water which was sold to Blacks Leisure Plc in 2003 and subsequently integrated into their Free Spirit subsidiary. He served as a Board Director of Hargreaves Ltd to achieve the sale of the business to Sports Direct in 2006. As well as serving as MD, he currently advises selected brands and retailers on strategy, product and property.
Retail Development Manager - Phil Banton
Phil is experienced in both high street and online retail IT and has been specialising within e-commerce since 2003.
